James Bridle, a protagonist in the final film "Unseen War", has now opened up his inspiringproject so that activists can use his visual intervention tactic. He has created a handbook, which gives guidance on how to draw a drone shadow, including advice on measuring and materials, and schematics for four of the most common types of drone: the Predator, Reaper, Global Hawk, and Hermes/Watchkeeper.
People have already used James' plans to draw drone shadows all around the world, including Detroit and São Paulo. The presence of these drone shadows encourages public debate and exposes how little we know about their size and how it might feel to have them flying over us.
