Brett describes himself as a campaigner and economic explorer, but also spent two years as a derivatives broker on London's trading room floor, intuitively learning how the financial systems that underpin our lifestyles actually work. This allowed him to give an inside-out look at the financial sector and a user-friendly guide to the main players, concepts and instruments, as well as how they can be subverted.
