A web-based game created to more accurately represent the reality of tax havens today.
Taxodus is a web-based game created to more accurately represent the reality of tax havens today. In order to break the myths of offshore assets, as the attributes of mafiosi parking their money on exotic islands, Taxodus offers a game that helps players understand how the offshore economy works.
Players first choose a company from a list of real corporations known for taking part in tax evasion, including Apple, H&M, IKEA, Barclays and BP, among others. The goal is then to pay as little tax as possible by relying on tax rates and tax treaties and protecting your assets offshore.
Taxodus was inspired by the documentary The Tax Free Tour, by Marije Meerman.
